It may have started with an old-school hair extension which I wore to school as a young child, but I began to live and breathe style in 9th grade, while working at a hair salon. While sweeping floors and folding the towels, I dreamt of hair, fashion, and dancing around in salon capes – just that mine would not be boring and black. The world needed a lot more pink!
I noticed people, not just the way you do when you glance at a person’s face, but the way you do when you get lost in something beautiful. I thought of ways they could enhance their individuality and unique features to bring out their inner diva. I dreamt of transforming the ordinary into the glamorous.
And I never stopped.
It’s always been about style, but that doesn’t mean it’s all about the outside. It’s about expressing what truly matters, the beauty that’s in all of us.
